Description: Lilaeopsis brasiliensis is a grass-like and small-remaining plant which is well suited for the foreground decoration. SUbmersed cultivation is unproblematic; the plants, however, grow only slowly. They can be accommodated equally in both hard or soft, acid or slightly alkaline water. Light requirement is only moderate, but high light intensity is clearly growth-enchancing. A fine grained substrate is recommended into which the delicate shoots can be easily implanted. The species is especially suited for the planting of paludariums, where a dense carpet will be estabilished after a few weeks. During summer, Lilaeopsis brasiliensis can also be cultivated on the edges of garden ponds.
